STARSkate Program

Intro to STARSkate

This is a group figure skating lesson program for youth, with some optional ice time available for the private lessons. The skater receives group instruction from coaches arranged by the club. There is also pre-scheduled ice available when a skater can receive individualized instruction from a coach of their choice, paid for by the parent. A Program Assistant will supervise skaters during practice time. All skaters will be working towards completing Skate Canada STARSkate Tests. Tests will be tried on scheduled ‘test days’, listed under Test Days in the LWC calendar. Please refer to the registration form for more details regarding time and length of each package offered.

It is recommended that skaters should have a minimum of the CanSkate Stage 4 badge or at the recommendation of your CanSkate coach.  Must not have passed any complete Skate Canada test.
