CanSkate Registration Form

Loyalist Winter Club reserves the right to reschedule times and/or applicants pending enrolment taking into account age, skating experience, numbers in each class/session and skater safety.


Program Information

Sprints CanSkate Class

This a learn-to-skate program recommended for skates ages 3 to 5. Ages are based on the calendar year. CSA approved hockey helmets are mandatory for Sprint skaters. This is a 30-minute class. Please refer to the registration form for more details.

CanSkate Class 30-minute

This is a learn-to-skate program offered as group lessons for skaters working on Stage 1 or 2 badges. CSA approved hockey helmets are mandatory. This is a 30-minute class. Please refer to the registration form for more details.

CanSkate Class 60-minute

This is a learn-to-skate group lesson program for skaters who are working on Stage 3,4,5,6 or 7 Badges. Class begins with 10 minutes of off-ice practice. Please refer to the registration form for more details.

Intro to STARSkate

This is a group figure skating lesson program for youth, with some ice time available for private lessons. Recommended for skaters working on Stage 5 Badge or higher. This is offered two times per week. Please refer to the registration form for more details.

Parent & Tot

This program is for adults (parents, grandparents, or caregivers) who would like to participate on the ice with a child of pre-school or Kindergarten age. CSA approved hockey helmets are mandatory for tots. Note: Both the adult AND the tot must pay Skate Canada fees. Only ONE adult per child is permitted on the ice due to the size of the class. This is a 30-minute class. Please refer to the registration form for more details.

Stage 3 - Glide Backward

Stage 5 - Power
Stage 6 - Speed
